Ursinus scored six runs in the first inning to carry themselves past the Albright College baseball team, 6-2 on Wednesday in Collegeville, Pa.
Sophomores
Collin Hecker and
Nate Peiffer were each 2-for-4 with a run scored for the Lions. Freshman
Zac Okonski knocked in both runs.
Albright recorded runs when Okonski knocked in Hecker in the top of the sixth, and then singled in Peiffer in the ninth inning.
The Lions couldn't come back however after Ursinus piled on six runs in the bottom of the first inning. Albright didn't allow a run after that, with
Sean Reilley and
Codi Pannebecker combining for five shutout innings on the mound.
Albright falls to 12-24 and will visit Arcadia on Friday. The Lions then host the Knights on Saturday for Senior Day, where

Paul Labe, III,
Doug Mace,
Brooks Mitzkewich,
Jon Raymond,
Matt Rehrig and
Tyler Storms will be honored.
