Men's Soccer Shut Out at Penn College

Box Score

Despite having a 13-5 second half advantage in shots, the Albright College men's soccer team couldn't find the net and fell 1-0, Monday at Penn College.

Wildcat goalie David Munn made 13 saves to deny Albright as the Lions dominated possession in the second half.

Penn College's Christopher Brennan scored the game's only goal in the 10th minute, forcing a shot through freshman goalie Austin Aldinger's hands. Senior Ryan Barr played the second half, making three saves.

The Lions had their best chance in the 54th minute, as junior Tyler Waters hit the post and freshman Storm Mathias put the rebound off the crossbar.

Munn made five saves in a three-minute stretch late in the game, including two on Codey Short.

The Wildcats won their seventh straight game pushed Albright's record to 6-3 on the season. The Lions travel to DeSales, a 2011 NCAA tournament qualifier, on Wednesday.
