Box Score
The Albright College men's soccer team won its second consecutive Commonwealth Conference game, 3-2 at Stevenson on Saturday.
Junior
Vitali Zaluha scored twice, including a long-range free kick that proved to be the winner. Senior
Tyler Waters also tallied for the Red and White.
The Lions had the first three shots of the contest, two by Zaluha, and all three saved by Stevenson goalie
Ryan Callinan.
Zaluha got the Red and White on the board in the 38th minute, taking a
Chris Bucks pass and cutting it back for the finish.
Waters finished off a deflection before halftime, to give Albright a 2-0 lead at the break.
After Stevenson grabbed one back, Zaluha ripped a 40-yard free kick into the back of the net to make it 3-1. The Lions conceded right after that goal, but held on for the win.
Albright is 6-9-2, 2-4-1 and will travel to local rival Alvernia on Wednesday.
