Albright College sophomore Darian Meador has earned his first MAC weekly honor after a record-setting performance vs. Immaculata.

Meador was named the Commonwealth Conference co-Defensive Player of the Week, sharing the award with Elizabethtown goalie Andrew Wenger.

Meador picked up 14 ground balls in a 20-9 victory over the Mighty Macs, equaling the school single-game mark that he originally set last season vs. Wells.

The midfielder also won 16-of-18 faceoffs (88.9%), another school record. He added two goals.
