Albright Men's Lacrosse to Honor "Jack's Tribe"

For tonight's Commonwealth Conference Game against Hood College, the Albright Men's Lacrosse Team will be wearing special socks to honor Jack Henry Berg.

At the age of 13th, Jack passed away in a fatal accident and shocked the entire lacrosse community of Conifer, Colorado.   Jack was an extremely kind-hearted young man who loved the sport of lacrosse and always strived to help others around him.  To shed a positive light on the tragedy Sandy (Jack's mom) and her family decided to donate all of Jack's Organs to help others.

To celebrate Jack's life, spread his gift of helping others, and raise awareness for tissue and bone donation, Sandy formed “Jack's Tribe”.  Jack saved the lives of 5 people with his organs and gave sight to two others.  The Bergs know that Jack would be grateful that he is still helping others.

In an effort to honor Jack, Albright Lax will be wearing socks with Jack's initials, “JHB,” along with lacrosse sticks to spread awareness for his great cause while playing the sport he loved.   If you'd like to join Jack's Tribe, please check out their page on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/JacksTribe
