The Albright College women's lacrosse team had defending Commonwealth Conference champions Elizabethtown tied until the final minute of the first half, ultimately losing 19-15 on the road Saturday.
Freshman
Erin Farrell scored an unassisted goal with 2:09 left in the first half to tie the game at 9-9.
Leigh Ann Flounlacker answered with a free position shot to give the Blue Jays a lead at halftime.
Elizabethtown had led 5-1 early but the Lions went on a 7-1 run to shock the hosts and take an 8-6 lead.

Amanda Smith scored twice, freshmen
Rebecca Sartorio sandwiched a Farrell goal with two tallies. Smith and Farrell followed as the Lions scored five straight.
Farrell had seven goals to lead Albright. Smith scored a hat trick and won nine draws.
Sophomore
Meghan Wilson had an all-around performance, totaling two goals, one assist, six ground balls, eight draw controls and two caused turnovers.
Flounlacker led all scorers with eight goals for Elizabethtown. She scored the first two points of the second half as the Blue Jays held off the Lions down the stretch.
Albright did pepper the Blue Jays goal throughout the contest, forcing goalie
Rachel Waldman to make 13 saves.
The Lions are 9-5, 3-4 on the season, and will face Messiah College at home on Tuesday.
