Women's Lacrosse to Support Autism Awareness Month

The Albright College women's lacrosse team will support Autism Awareness Month on April 13, at their home game against Stevenson.

April is National Autism Awareness Month.  In order to highlight the growing need for concern and awareness about autism, the United States recognizes this month as a special opportunity for everyone to educate the public about autism and issues within the autism community.  Autism prevalence is now one in every 88 children in America.

For the second year in a row, the Albright College Women's Lacrosse team is showing their support for people with autism on April 13th by wearing Autism Awareness t-shirts during warm-ups.

The Lions will have a table set up to sell t-shirts at the entrance of Shirk Stadium; money raised will be donated to help autism education, create awareness, assist in advocacy research, and most importantly, assist families living with autism.
