Eric Giovagnoli took over in the second half, as the Albright College men's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision on Saturday in Shirk Stadium.

A string of dangerous Eastern corners had come to nothing in the first half. Several corners were cleared by sophomore defender
Brad Wood, after
Nate Roberts headed a great chance over the bar in the early going.
The Lions failed to clear one chance and the ball fell to Eastern's
Josh Cirocco, who volleyed over the goal from close range.
Albright's best chance of the first half came in the 31st minute, as freshman
Peter Bockarie cut past a defender on the right end line. His cross found
Tyler Waters, who couldn't quite pull the trigger from close range.
After an Albright corner was punched away, sophomore
Dylan See hit a volley but missed wide of the near post.
Johnson was nearly in on goal late in the first half, but Wood took it off his foot at the last second.
The Lions fall to 4-4-1 and will play a fourth consecutive tough home game on Tuesday night, when DeSales University comes to Shirk Stadium. Eastern is now 9-1 on the season.
