CHESTER, Pa. -- Senior
Amanda Osterlind racked up three victories on Saturday leading the Albright women's swim team to a 147-115 victory over Widener at the Schwartz Center.
Osterlind was victorious in the 1000-yard freestyle, the 200-yard butterfly and the 100-yard butterfly events in leading Albright to its third straight victory to open the season. She won the 1000 freestyle in a time of 11:17.15, captured the 200 butterfly in 2:20.97 and won the 100 butterfly in 1:04.32.
The Lions received victories from five different swimmers as
Gwen Stefan,
Julie McNeil,
Kaitlyn Huizing and
Liz Muller also posted wins on Saturday.
Stefan won the 200 freestyle in 2:02.56, McNeil captured first place in the 100 backstroke in 1:03.61, Huizing finished first in the 200 backstroke in 2:19.34 and Muller placed first in the 500 freestyle in 5:41.65.
The Lions 200-yard medley realy team of Huizing,
Lauren Cormier, McNeil and Stefan also finished first in a time of 1:56.53.
