Albright Baseball to Play at FirstEnergy Stadium on Monday

The Albright College baseball team will play its annual game vs. Kutztown University at the Reading Fightin Phils' FirstEnergy Stadium, Monday, Apr. 28 at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from players around campus, or at the gate on game day.

Albright has challenged Kutztown in past years, losing 6-1 a year ago when the Golden Bears were ranked nationally in Division II.

Senior Vinny Morgan drew two walks, while Dylan Boll, Zac Okonski and Gabe Santone recorded the Lions' three hits in that game.

In 2012, Kutztown emerged with a 9-5 victory.

The Golden Bears are 23-17 this year, with an 11-13 mark in PSAC play. Kutztown is led by speedy centerfielder Brandon Martinez (.400, 30-of-31 stolen bases, 39 runs scored) and senior pitcher Corey Snyder (4-1, 0.93 ERA in five starts).
