Senior wide receiver Kyle Dickerson led the Lions with 105 yards receiving on eight catches. Meanwhile, FDU-Florham suffered its first loss of the season versus Lycoming at home, 27-21. The Lions enter the contest 0-3 in MAC play and the Devils enter with a 2-1 MAC record.

LAST SEASON'S MATCHUP
Albright has won 11 straight meetings against the Devils which was capped by a 51-33 win last season at FDU. The Lions racked up 471 yards of total offense and used three quarters to race out to a 41-7 lead. Four different Lions caught touchdown passes, while Dickerson tallied an 80-yard punt return touchdown. Former Lion Isaiah Baylor forced two fumbles in the win as well.

HOMECOMING SATURDAY
Under Head Coach John Marzka, the Lions are currently 7-4 in homecoming games. Albright has won three of the last five homecoming games despite losing last year's game to Delaware Valley, 41-6. This is the first time that the Lions will be facing FDU-Florham under Marzka for a homecoming contest. Albright set a homecoming game record of 62 points versus Wilkes in the 2015 season.

ACROSS THE FIELD
Two Lion defenders stood out the most against Widener on Saturday afternoon. Senior defensive tackle David Sanchez registered five tackles (four solo) and forced a fumble in the second quarter. Sanchez also blocked a Pride extra point in the third quarter and posted two hurries on the afternoon.

Freshman linebacker Sam Viera also had a big role in the action on defense Saturday as he tied for second on the team with seven tackles with two of them being solo, and 1.5 being TFL. Viera also registered his first interception as a Lion in the third quarter.

A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING
Freshman quarterback Kai Vargas had a part in the Lions offense in three different ways on Saturday afternoon against Widener. Vargas attempted a pass, posted a rushing attempt, and caught two passes against the Pride. He completed his one pass attempt and carried the ball three times.

Vargas also caught two passes for 25 yards to tie for third on the team in receiving yards. The Florida native has seen action as well on defense at safety, and on special teams coverage as well.

LIKE OLD TIMES
In last season's matchup against FDU-Florham, junior quarterback Jimmy Lahay saw his first extensive time under center. Lahay finished the game 5-for-8 for 81 yards and one touchdown pass. Lahay's touchdown pass opened the scoring for the Lions in the first quarter on their initial drive.

Lahay has tallied his two highest career passing yard games in the last two weeks against Stevenson and Widener. He posted a career-high 192 yards against Stevenson before throwing for 191 last Saturday against the Pride

TOUGH STRETCH
The initial five opponents for the Lions this year have already posted a 13-5 record this fall. Last season, those same five teams tallied a 37-21 mark for a .638 winning percentage with four of the five teams winning at least six games and one capturing a conference title. Additionally, four of the five teams earned a postseason berth in some way last season.

HALL OF FAME WEEKEND
The Albright Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2018 will be inducted during a ceremony on Friday night. The four new inductees will also be honored at halftime of tomorrow's game. For more information on the inductees, please click here.
