READING, Pa. – The Albright women's soccer team will host Stevenson for the first round of the MAC Commonwealth Tournament tomorrow, Nov. 2
nd, at 7 pm.
Tickets: The MAC mandates the prices for adults at $5, senior citizens at $4, and children $2, and for children under 6 with an adult are free. Albright students with a valid ID will be free as well courtesy of the office of the Vice President for Student and Campus life. All tickets can be purchased at the gate.

MAC Commonwealth Tournament: Albright is the No. 4 seed in the tournament and hosts the No. 5 seed Stevenson. The winner will face either the No. 1 seed Messiah on Thursday, Nov. 4
th for the semifinal round. The championship game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 6
th.
Records: Albright enters the tournament with a 9-7-2 overall record and 4-4 in conference play. The Lions closed out their regular season Saturday in a 1-0 win over Eastern. Stevenson enters postseason action 5-8-5 overall and 3-4-1 in the MAC Commonwealth. They closed out the regular season with a 3-0 loss to Lebanon Valley on Saturday.
Scouting the Lions: Albright ranks fourth in the MAC Commonwealth in points per game with 4.17. Senior
Autumn Bieber leads the Lions offense and ranks third in the conference with 21 points behind six goals and a conference-leading nine assists. Bieber also ranks second in the conference shots per game with 3.61 and shots on goal per game with 2.06. Senior
Diza Hasanaj leads the team and ranks second in the conference in goals with eight. Junior
Emily Serpico has scored twice in the past four games and ranks second on the team in goals with six. First-year goalkeeper
McKenna LeVan paces the conference in shutouts with eight on the season and ranks fourth in saves per game with 5.11. LeVan has also earned a pair of MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Lions in the Playoffs: This marks the seventh-straight season the Lions have appeared in playoffs, aside from the cancelled 2020 fall season due to COVID-19. Albright's last postseason playoff appearance featured a 3-0 first round victory over Hood which marked the program's first MAC Commonwealth Tournament win in history.
Scouting the Mustangs: Stevenson ranks fourth in the conference in fewest goals allowed with 1.33 per game and third, just ahead of Albright, in save percentage with .821. First-year Olivia Stephen leads the Mustangs offense with eight points behind four goals. Senior Allison Arters follows with six points behind three goals. First-year Ericka Kitzinger posts a team-leading four assists and one goal for six points on the season. Senior goalkeeper Keegan Caffrey paces the conference in saves per game with 5.94 and ranks fourth in GAA with 1.18.
The Mustangs in the Playoffs: Stevenson is making their second-straight MAC Commonwealth Tournament appearance, aside from the cancelled 2020 fall season due to COVID-19. The Mustangs were eliminated in the semifinal round of postseason action in 2019 with a 2-0 loss to Arcadia. Prior to 2019 Stevenson hadn't seen playoff action since the 2016 season.
Series: The Mustangs lead the series with a 6-3-1 record over the Lions. However, Albright claimed a 1-0 victory over Stevenson earlier this season. Two of the Lions three wins over the Mustangs have been at Shirk Stadium as well as the one draw.
Last Meeting: Albright earned a hard-fought 1-0 win over Stevenson on Oct. 16
th at Shirk Stadium. The Lions registered seven first-half shots to Stevenson's two, but the game remained scoreless in the first 45 minutes of action. Albright finally broke through in the 51
st minute with a goal from Serpico assisted by Bieber. LeVan solidified the shut-out win for the Lions with five saves in 90 minutes of action.
Head Coaches: Pat Stanco has posted a 152-130-29 record in 17 seasons as the head coach of Albright. This is his seventh-straight MAC Commonwealth Tournament appearance for the Lions, excluding the 2020 season that was cancelled due to COVID-19, and his eleventh total tournament appearance at the helm of the women's soccer program.
Tati Korba is in her fifth season as the head coach of Stevenson. She holds a 29-33-10 overall record with the Mustangs. This will be Korba's second MAC Commonwealth Tournament appearance at the helm of the Stevenson women's soccer program.
