CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Albright men's soccer team (2-9-2, 1-2-1 MAC Commonwealth) went on the road today and took down DeSales University (5-7-2, 0-3-1 MAC Freedom) by a final of 2-1. Today's game marked the first matchup between the two schools since 2017.

DeSales found themselves on the score sheet first when Owen Maher scored in the 6th minute of play. The early goal proved to be the only one of the half sending the Bulldogs into the break with a lead. 

The Lions fired five first half shots but could not solve the DeSales defense in the early going. 

John Villano took matters into his own hands and tied the game up for the Lions in the 52nd minute. The junior forward got the Lions on the board with his first goal of the season. 

After more back and forth action the game seemed destined for a 1-1 draw. Noah Raimonde had other ideas. 

Off two consecutive passes from Villano and Adam Archambault, Raimonde buried the ball in the right corner sending Albright on their way with a 2-1 come from behind victory. 

Villano and Archambault were both credited with assists on the play and for Raimonde it was his second goal of his career and his first game winning goal of his career. 

Cooper Walters earned the start in net and made four saves on the day. Raimonde led the way for Albright with three total shots.
