FREDERICK, Md - The Albright women's swimming team (0-3) was in action on Saturday afternoon in a matchup with Hood College (4-4). The hosts in Hood College edged out visiting Albright 98-72 in the dual meet.

Laurel Gingrich won a total of three events today. The 200, 100, and 50-yard freestyles. In the 200-yard freestyle Ginrich won with a time of 2:02.75. In the 100-yard freestyle Gingrich finished in 58.30 and won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.74.

Morgan Stuhltrager matched Gingrich with three events won of her own today. Stuhltrager won the 200-yard IM touching the wall first with a time of 2:19.06. She won the 200-yard backstroke clocking in at 2:18.60. Stuhltrager won the 200-yard breaststroke beating two Hood swimmers with a time of 2:44.04.

Megan Misurelli finished first in the 1000-yard freestyle clocking in at 11:26.42. Misurelli placed first in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:38.29. Misurelli finished her afternoon with two events won for the Lions.

The Albright women's swim team will head to the Diamond City Invitational next weekend hosted by Wilkes University. The three day meet will begin on Friday, November 18 and conclude on Sunday, November 20.
