READING, Pa. – Albright Head Football Coach
Isaac Collins has announced new additions to the football coaching staff.
Joining the program is
Cam D'Angelo as the new Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach.
Ralph Clark joins as the Special Teams Coordinator, Tight Ends Coach, and Offensive Tackles Coach.
Devin Hines also joins as the as the Defensive Backs Coach. In addition to the new hires,
Shaun Weaver has been named the Defensive Coordinator for the Albright football program.
D'Angelo travels to Reading to join the Albright football coaching staff after most recently serving as a Graduate Assistant coach at the University of Utah from 2020-2022. A 2016 graduate of the University of Central Florida (UCF), D'Angelo earned a Bachelor's degree in sports & exercise science with a minor in coaching and held his first coaching position with the university. Prior to his experience with the University of Utah, he served as the Linebackers Coach at Alderson Broaddus University. "Cam is one of the outstanding young offensive minds in college football," said Collins. "As a young coach he was a part of a UCF staff that made school history on offense. He displayed a great vision in the interview for building a unique offense that will be able to put our players in best position to succeed."
Clark joins the Albright football staff after serving as the Head Football Coach at Alvernia University. Clark laid the foundation for the new program as he led the Golden Wolves to their first-ever win in the 2018 inaugural season. While at Alvernia he also served as the Chairman of he university's first ever Justice, Equity, and Inclusion Council. Prior to his time with the Golden Wolves, Clark served as the Defensive Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator at Seton Hill University. Clark brings with him more than 20 years of coaching experience to the Albright football program. "An outstanding recruiter and coach with experience at High School, D2 and D1 Level," Collins added, "his ability to teach and relate to young people will be a huge asset for our Special Teams."
Hines' most recent coaching position was as a Defensive Back Coach for Route 1 Athletics from 2019-2021. Prior to that, he held a Graduate Assistant position at Seton Hill where he coached under both Clark and Collins. Hines received his Bachelor's degree in sports management from Seton Hill in 2017 and completed his Master's in sports industry management from Georgetown University in the Fall of 2021. "Devin was an overachiever as a player for me and after starting a successful Real Estate career decided to turn to developing young people" said Collins. "He will bring great passion to our Defensive Secondary."
Weaver's promotion to Defensive Coordinator comes after serving as the Special Teams Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach for the past two seasons. Prior to Albright, Weaver held the title of Defensive Coordinator for 13 of his 14 seasons at Gettysburg College.
John Venditti will now serve as the Running Back Coach, Video Coordinator, and Alumni Coordinator for the Albright football program while
John Alicea will serve as the Offensive Line Coach and Run Game Coordinator. The Wide Receivers Coach and Safeties Coach are to be announced.
