Williamsport, PA - The Albright Lions fell to Penn College by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday night. The loss drops the Lions to 1-3 on the season, while the Wildcats improve to 1-3-1.
It was an uneventful first half, as both sides had just one shot, with only the Albright shot being on goal. But after a 0-0 first half, things got a little bit more physical in the second half.
In the second half the WIldcats got on the board with a 60th minute goal by Dylan Dailey. That would be the only goal of the match. But the second half also saw five yellow cards handed out, with
Chris Estrada,
Luke Fanning, and Cyrren Shesniak each picking one up for the Lions.
Overall, the Lions had the edge in shots (7-6) and corner kicks (5-3), but ultimately were not able to capitalize on any of their chances.
Up Next - The Lions will next play on Thursday, September 15th at Penn State Berks. That game is scheduled to start at 7pm.
