WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Albright men's lacrosse team (1-3) was on the road today traveling to Penn College (3-0) where the Wildcats protected their home field and won the non conference game by a final score of 21-10.
After Penn College started off scoring the game's first two goals, Lucas Roselli scored to cut the early Lion deficit in half making the game 2-1. The goal was the fourth of the season for Roselli.
With two minutes to go in the first quarter, Jack Burke scored for his 13th goal of the season. Assisting on the play was Jay Shifflet.
Penn College jumped out to a 9-2 lead early in the second period. James Elko and Justin Moroney scored for the Lions in the frame bringing the deficit to 9-4. For Moroney it was his first career goal in an Albright uniform. The Wildcats led 15-5 at the break.
There was minimal scoring in the third period for both sides. Burke scored the only goal of the period for the Lions, his second of the game.
In the fourth period the hosts were able to close out the Lions to take the non conference matchup.
Coming into today's game, Shifflet and Burke sat one and two in the MAC commonwealth for total goals scored this season. Shifflet scored three today and Burke added two of his own to pace the Lion attack.
Roselli collected four ground balls and Burke scooped up three in the game.

The Lions will have a full week off before returning to action next Saturday on the road at Delaware Valley. Next week's game is set for a 4 p.m. start.
