Saturday's game will mark the third road game of the season for the Lions following a pair of games at home against Eastern and Misericordia.
The Lions through five games have continued to make strides in their passing game along with their defense turning in their best performance since the season opener.
Junior quarterback
Chase Roberts is coming off his second consecutive 300-yard performance and has completed 68% of his passes in those two games. Roberts' 849 yards are good for fifth in the MAC.
John Boston continues to be a focal point of the offense and has recorded three touchdowns in five games. Boston has broken out in the passing game as well and has recorded 15 catches for 133 yards in the team's last two games.
Terrell Bartee has recorded a team high three sacks in five games as part of a Lions defense that has recorded five turnovers in as many games.
Samuel Moratori continues to lead the Lions secondary and has recorded a conference leading 55 tackles through five games.
ABOUT STEVENSON
Saturday's game will mark the fourth home game of the season for the Mustangs. They are coming off a 10-3 win against Widener on the road. Stevenson also beat Delaware Valley earlier this season to break their 54 conference game winning streak.
Senior Nyaire Wilson is expected to start at quarterback for the second straight game and is coming off a 206-yard performance against Widener where he completed 66% of his passes.
Junior wide receiver Deion Richardson leads the mustangs with 399 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Richardson's 23 yards per catch make him one of the biggest deep threats in the conference.
Amari Fleming-Powell and Mekhi Harvey have each recorded multiple interceptions for a Mustangs defense that has forced 11 turnovers in five games. Kidduse Kebede leads the team in sacks with three in five games.
