FREDERICK, Md. – Men's Lacrosse (5-9, 0-4 MAC Commonwealth) was locked in a back and forth battle all game long in another classic MAC Commonwealth matchup against Hood College (7-7, 1-3 MAC Commonwealth). The Blazers scored with 26 seconds left to escape with a 10-9 victory.
The largest margin for either side in today's game was two goals. The game was tied on six different occasions and also at halftime at 5-5.
Albright and Hood were unable to separate themselves throughout the entire game. Both teams had an answer for each and every goal the opposition scored. After 10 total goals in the first half, the second half only featured six goals.
Seven different Lions scored in today's game with
James Elko and
Nick Antonio each scoring twice. The duo each tallied one assist each finishing the game with three points each. Elko led with 10 total shots contributing to the Lions 42 total shots.
Sean McNicholas finished with 14 saves marking the fifth straight game recording double digit saves. McNicholas is among the leaders in saves in the MAC Commonwealth with 155 to date.

Jon Alvarez each scored once tonight for Albright.
Justin Moroney finished with one point coming on an assist.
Alvarez tallied a team high five ground balls to go with a caused turnover. Buke was second on team tallying four ground balls.
Albright tallied four assists on the nine total goals.
Ryan Houghtaling, Elko and Antonio were each credited with one assist.
The Lions were solid on clears tonight going 21-24 in clear attempts.
