A common theme for the team this season was their ability to come from behind and win. Today was no different as the Lions found themselves trailing 5-2 going into the bottom of the fifth inning.
Albright would then go on to score a pair of runs in the bottom of the fifth to pull within one and after a scoreless sixth inning, scored 11 runs in the seventh inning to pull far ahead of the visiting Knights.
Six different Lions would end the day recording at least two hits with eight of the starters reaching base at least once.
Trey Smith continued to show why his speed kills and accounted for a run scored via steeling home.
Adam Ferdock picked up his first win of the season in relief pitching 2.1 shutout innings for the Lions.
The team will feature a core largely made up of underclassmen baptized by fire with coach Perry returning at the helm looking to have another exciting season in 2025.
