YORK, Pa – Men's lacrosse (5-6, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth) began their seven-game conference stretch on the road today against York College (4-7, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth). In their fifth lifetime matchup. The visiting Lions dropped today's game by a final score of 20-4.
The Lions four goals this afternoon came from for different Lions.
James Elko,
Justin Moroney,
Jack Burke and
Nick Antonio all tallied a goal for the Lions.
Antonio opened the scoring for Albright in the first period on an unassisted goal. The goal gave Antonio his 20
th goal of the season and was unassisted. Burke tallied his goal in the second period for his 27
th goal of the season.
Moroney's goal came in the third period off an assist from Antonio. Moroney also has 20 goals this season for Albright tallying his 26
th of the season.
Elko rounded out the Lions scoring in the fourth period scoring his 26
th goal of the season off an assist from
Tyler Richards. The assist for Richards marks his fifth of the season.
Defensively for Albright,
Hunter Fitterling caused one turnover and collected three ground balls. Fitterling has registered a caused turnover in three straight games.
