READING, Pa. – Football will be traveling to New Jersey for their first road game of the season against FDU-Florham. The game will be Saturday (9/14) at 12:00 pm and also serve as the first MAC game of the year for the Lions.

Saturday's game will mark the first road and conference game of the season for the Lions as well as their 33
rd game against the Devils in school history.
The Lions are coming off a 17-6 win where they established a strong rushing attack mixed in with a shutdown effort from their defense.

Logan Rothberg on a 19-yard touchdown pass for the game's first score.
First-Year running backs
John Boston and
Jeremiah Diaz led the way for the Lions offense. Boston averaged 5.5 yards per carry including a nine yard touchdown run to put the team up 11 points in the final minutes. Diaz recorded 39 yards on the ground with just four carries.
Defensive coordinator
Mark Fetterman led a stellar defensive effort in his first game as Gallaudet's only points came off a kick return touchdown in the third quarter. The Lions combined for four sacks including a pair from junior defensive tackle
Terrell Bartee.
ABOUT FDU-Florham
Saturday's game will mark the first conference game and second of FDU Florham's first two games at home before traveling to play Misericordia. The Devils are coming off a 37-9 blowout win against William Paterson.
Players to watch for FDU-Florham's offense include senior quarterback Ryon Thomas. Thomas is coming off a 16/20 passing effort with a pair of passing touchdowns to go along with two more touchdowns on the ground as part of a 65 yard rushing effort. Junior running back Kwanir Edwards led the team in rushing with 87 yards including a three-yard touchdown run as part of a 15 carry night.
The Devils' defense held William Paterson to 239 yards of total offense led by six sacks and nine tackles for a loss from their defense. Ginika Ozurumba and Adekunle Shittu both registered at least one solo sack and tackle for a loss. Isaiah Massey recorded two sacks and two tackles for a loss.
