NEWTOWN, Pa. – Dante Zamichieli started his senior season about as well as you could finishing 17^th out of 119 runners at the Penn State Abington Invitational. For his efforts, Zamichieli was named Middle Atlantic Conference Runner of the Week.

Zamichieli is now a two-time MAC Runner of the Week winner after earning his first last season.

The senior Lion turned in a strong time this past weekend at the Penn State Abington Invitational finishing the 8k race in 30:19.30. The time was good for 17^th out of 119 total runners in the field.

The time for Zamichieli allowed him to finish comfortably in the top 20 finishing 19 seconds ahead of the 20^th place finisher.

Zamichoeli and the rest of the men's cross-country team will return to action on October 5.
