FLEETWOOD, Pa. – Men's golf wrapped up their 36-holes of competition on Saturday afternoon at the Bear Invitational hosted by Ursinus. Albright shot a 302 on day two of the tournament to take second overall.

Chris DiRita finished inside the top 10 for Albright.
RESULTS
The Lions were in second after day one of the tournament and would hold their ground on the leaderboard concluding the tournament in second. Albright's day-two score of 302 was seven strokes better than yesterday. The 302-team score was tied for the best round of the day on day two. Penn College claimed victory finishing just four strokes ahead of Albright.
Liljeblad paced the Lions across the two days ending his 36-holes in solo sixth. Liljeblad recorded four birdies throughout the round including a one under front nine. The junior has played 10 rounds during the fall season has only finished with a score outside the 70's on one occasion.
DiRita had his best game working throughout the round shooting a season low of 73. DiRita was six strokes better today than he was yesterday which helped him to a T9 finish. From holes 9-18, DiRita tallied three birdies to play that stretch of holes at one under par.
August Fredrik Alhanko took home a T16 finish. The sophomore player recorded a 79 today which included three total birdies. Alhanko played the par threes at one under par.
Charles Bailey put yesterday's round behind him, improving today by eight strokes. Bailey's strong day saw him finish T21 after 36 holes. Bailey played the back nine at just one over par, the back nine included three birdies.
Ashton McKechan improved by one stroke today helping the Lions to claim second in the tournament. McKechan was strong on the par fives this afternoon playing the three par fives on the course at even par.

Albright will rest up tomorrow before returning to action on Monday, October 13. The Lions will compete in the Lancaster Bible Invitational at Bent Creek Country Club.
