FLEETWOOD, Pa. – Men's golf won the two-day Golden Oaks Shootout with a team score of 595 to win their second consecutive tournament. Albright has won four of their six tournaments that they have appeared in this season across the "A" and "B" teams.
Federico Cobos Kallman earned low medalist honors with a two-day score of 141.
RESULTS
The Lions have played some of the best golf in program history so far in the 2025 fall season. The impressive play has seen Albright set the program record for lowest single day team score (291) and lowest two-day team score (593).
Albright beat the second-place finishers Johnson and Wales (N.C.) by seven strokes and beat MAC Commonwealth member institutions Hood and Alvernia by 26 strokes. Both of which sent their "A" teams to the Golden Oaks Shootout.
Cobos Kallman's game was on full display over the past couple of days. The sophomore won the tournament by six strokes and was the only player in the field that finished the 36-holes of competition under par.
Helping him to the individual title was a day-two one under par (71) performance. Cobos Kallman was one under through the front nine and found three birdies on the back nine. Over the eight rounds played this fall, Cobos Kallman's scoring average is an impressive 74.0.
Jonatan Liljeblad climbed the leaderboard on day two after a round of 73. When it was all said and done, the junior finished T5. Liljeblad started his day with a birdie and remained consistent throughout recording 15 total pars.
Evan Twyman wrapped up another strong showing with a T5 finish after a round two score of 75. Twyman's two-day score of 148 is his lowest to date this season. On the back nine Twyman was just one over par including back-to-back birdies on holes 11 and 12.
Chris DiRita finished his round strong on Monday afternoon with a back nine score of 38 to finish with a total score of 77. Today marks the third round of the season for DiRita who earned his first score in the 70's showing improvement every time he takes the course.
Oliver Liljeblad rounded out the day for the Lions with a round of 82. The score tied for his lowest round of the season set back on day two of the Moravian Invitational. Today, Liljeblad birdied the par five 11
th hole on his way to a solid round of golf.

Albright will head to the Alvernia Invitational which is set to take place tomorrow (Oct. 7). Golfers will begin to tee off at 12:00 p.m. at LedgeRock Golf Club.
