READING, Pa. – Albright Football (4-6, 3-6 MAC) took to the field one last time in 2025 against the Dutchmen of Lebanon Valley (6-4, 6-3 MAC). The two teams would combine for 750 total yards off offense in what turned out to be a heartbreaking last second 38-35 victory for Lebanon Valley.

Chase Roberts connected with
Arthur Poindexter for the first of his two touchdowns in the form of a 40-yard completion on a 3
rd and 10. Poindexter finished with seven catches for 133 yards which included both of the team's touchdown catches. Poindexter ends an incredible sophomore season with 1,043 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Poindexter has been in the top 25 for receiving yards throughout Division III for a majority of the season. In the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) in 2025 Poindexter led in receptions (74), receiving yards and touchdowns. No other MAC wideout had more than 53 receptions, 677 yards and eight touchdowns showcasing the dominating season. Playing in all 10 games this season, Poindexter's per game receiving yards average finishes at 104.3 marking the fourth best per game average in program history and the highest per game average since 1996.
John Boston ran for a career best 184 yards on the ground including a pair of scores in a game where the offense was firing on all cylinders. Boston finished his sophomore season with 1,184 total yards from scrimmage, including 1,021 on the ground, and eight touchdowns. The first of Boston's two scores came with just under 90 seconds left in the first half to tie the game 14-14.
Boston started nine games for Albright in 2025 averaging 113.4 yards per game on the ground. The per game average is fourth most in program history and the best per game average since 1985.
Allowing the offense to roll all season long was quarterback
Chase Roberts. Roberts started all 10 games throwing for 2266 yards, 16 touchdowns to only four interceptions while throwing for 226.6 yards per game. In the MAC Roberts concludes 2025 having the second most passing yards and passing yards per game.
With the Dutchmen inside their own 10-yardline,
CJ Partridge would intercept a pass in the endzone in the final seconds nearly taking it the other way for an Albright touchdown. The score remained tied at the half at 14-14. Partridge ends his career with five interceptions and 85 career tackles.
Also having Senior Days to remember were
Jacquez Parker-Cannon and
Samuel Moratori who combined for 17 total tackles and 1.5 sacks.
The games final two minutes would feature 17 points combined from the two teams. Following a go ahead touchdown from Lebanon Valley (35-28),
Shayde Shultz would return a kickoff 99-yards to the house to tie the game 35-35 with 1:40 remaining for what was both his first collegiate touchdown and the team's first special teams score of the season. Shultz finished with an outstanding 231 return yards on just five attempts.The 99-yard kickoff return is the second longest in program history and the longest since 1987.
On the game's final possession, Lebanon Valley would wind up going on a 10-play drive resulting in a game winning field goal as time expired.
