READING, Pa. – Softball (0-6) was able to finally play on their home field on Tuesday afternoon welcoming Lycoming (8-1) to town. The Lions started the season on a four-game road trip before hosting the Warriors today. Lycoming took both ends of the double-header in non-conference action.
Game 1:
Lycoming was able to plate eight runs across the third and fourth innings on their way to winning game one of the double header.
Slaydon Fisher tallied two hits at the plate, both of which were singles. The multi hit game is the second of the season for Fisher.
Riley Winchell collected her first hit and run scored for Albright in the fifth inning of play.
Ryleigh Prinz added an RBI in the fifth inning that scored
Madison Lasko who reached on a walk. The RBI is the first for Prinz as an Albright Lion.
Juliette Licata was inserted into the two spot this afternoon and registered two walks in three total plate appearances.
Game 2:
The Warriors of Lycoming scored in five of the seven innings to take game two and win the second game of the double header.
Aliza Langlois went 2-3 in game two including a triple hit into the right center gap. Langlois has three multi hit games this season including today in just six games to start the year.
The Lions were threatening in the first inning placing two batters on base. The Lycoming right fielder made a running catch in right field for the third out to keep the Lions off the board in the first inning.
Grace Landante went 1-2 with a walk batting in the cleanup spot for the Lions.
Prinz rounded out the hits in game two for the Lions going 1-3 at the plate with a single.

Albright will travel to Lancaster Bible College on Thursday, March 20. The double header will start at 3 p.m. from Lancaster.
