READING, Pa. – Women's lacrosse (5-12, 1-6 MAC Commonwealth) played in their final game of the 2025 season on Saturday afternoon against cross town rival Alvernia (4-13, 2-5 MAC Commonwealth) and fell to the Golden Wolves 18-10.
Kayte Moist scored her 61st goal of the season this afternoon to tie the single season goal record.
Kayte Moist needed five goals coming into today to set the new program record for goals in a season. Moist scored four goals to tie the program record for goals in a season.
Moist blew by her previous career high of 38 goals in a season in 2025. Moist has led the Commonwealth in goals for a majority of the season and will conclude the season as the leading goal scorer in the conference. Moist finished her career with 175 points, which ranks tied for fifth all-time in school history.
Sarah Chernis recorded one point today to finish her Albright career with 104 career points. The point total places Chernis in 11th all-time in school history.
Caelainn Morrison made 13 saves today marking her ninth game this season, making at least 10 saves. Morrison concludes her Albright career with an impressive career save total of 527.
Riley Basht scored twice this afternoon, finishing the season with 22 goals and 26 points. The goal total and point total are both career highs in a season for Basht.
Zoe Dicks had a career year for the Lions scoring twice more this afternoon. Dicks scored 39 goals this season trailing only Moist on Albright. Dicks took a majority of the draw controls this season for the Lions and ended with a total of 67.
Rounding out the Lions goals today was
Lucy Moreland who scored her 12
th goals of the season.
Cynthia Schneider and
Courtney Futrick each recorded three caused turnovers today. For both Lions, the three caused turnovers marked a new season high.
