Newtown Pa. – Men's Lacrosse saw senior
Hunter Fitterling named to the 2025 All-MAC Commonwealth team as part of the Second Team.
Fitterling started all 17 games for the second time in three seasons and recorded career highs in all defensive categories this season including 66 ground balls and 43 caused turnovers. The 43 caused turnovers by Fitterling were enough to lead the conference after finishing fourth in the same category in 2023.
In the team's 15-10 win over Gwynedd Mercy, Fitterling recovered seven ground balls and forced three turnovers while winning both of his faceoff attempts.
Fitterling forced at least one turnover in 16 of the team's 17 games this season which included a career high of six in his final collegiate game against Alvernia.
This is the first time Fitterling has received All-Conference recognition and joins his former teammates
Luke Williams,
Jack Burke and
Jon Alvarez who each received Honorable Mention status in the 2024 season.
Fitterling becomes the first Lion to be coached to All-Conference recognition under the leadership of coach
Derek Stump.
