COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. –
Lillian Tuffy of the Albright women's field hockey team has been named a 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Scholar of Distinction. Tuffy has earned a spot on the list in three out of her four seasons at Albright.
The NFHCA recognizes 543 exceptional undergraduate student-athletes as 2025 Division III Scholars of Distinction. This honor celebrates student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the fall semester and were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. The full list can be found

Tuffy made the list in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Tuffy has played 53 career games for the Lions over three years, playing primarily as a defender.
Additionally, Tuffy was named a team captain prior to this season and figures to be a major contributor during the 2026 season for the Lions.
