Dicks, Howe, Laboy & Timothy Named Player of the Week

Zoe Dicks (women’s lacrosse), Nate Howe (men’s lacrosse), Alexis Laboy (softball) and Michelle Timothy (women’s tennis) all received Player of the Week honors.

NEWTWON, Pa. – Four Albright Lions were named Player of the Week as announced by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) on Tuesday afternoon. Zoe Dicks (women's lacrosse), Nate Howe (men's lacrosse), Alexis Laboy (softball) and Michelle Timothy (women's tennis) all took home the honor.

For the second time in the 2025-2026 athletic season, Albright has had four different Player of the Weeks in a single week.

Zoe Dicks recorded 19 points across two victories for the Lions. The senior finished the week with eight goals and 11 assists while setting program single-game records with seven assists and 13 points against Mount Saint Vincent.
 
Dicks is sitting on 99 career points and figures to be the 12th player in program history to reach the milestone. The honor is the second of the season for Dicks. Women's lacrosse will host Lebanon Valley tomorrow night (Mar. 18) at 6:00 p.m.
 
Nate Howe totaled six caused turnovers and 12 ground balls during the week. The junior recorded three caused turnovers in each game and added a goal against Juniata.
 
Howe has been instrumental in the men's lacrosse team's recent success having won three of their last four games. Howe leads the team in caused turnovers with 12 and ground balls with 28. The men's lacrosse team will travel to Westminster to face the Titans on Wednesday, March 18 at 7:00 p.m.
 
Alexis Laboy picked up two wins across 14.2 innings of work against Rutgers-Camden and Alvernia. The sophomore allowed just two earned runs and recorded a complete-game shutout against Alvernia while striking out nine batters during the week.
 
Laboy has been dominant to start the season having a 1.27 ERA in 27.2 innings earning two wins in the process. The softball team will host Lancaster Bible College on Thursday, March 19 at 3 and 5 p.m.
 
Michelle Timothy went undefeated with a 4-0 record across singles and doubles play facing Methodist and Ursinus. The senior earned two singles victories, including a three-set comeback against Methodist.
 
The Player of the Week recognition is the third of Timothy's career. Recently Timothy has been on fire winning four of her last five singles and doubles matches. The women's tennis team heads will host DeSales on Friday, March 20 squaring off against the Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m.
