FLEETWOOD, Pa. – Men's golf competed in the 2026 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships over the past two days at Golden Oaks Golf Club.
Jonatan Liljeblad finished in a tie for eight to claim All-MAC Commonwealth Second Team honors.
RESULTS
The men's golf team endured a tough two days of golf battling in tough conditions throughout the 36 holes. Albright fared well overall shooting a team score of 626 over the two days placing the Lions in third.
To earn All-MAC honors, you must finish in T10 or better. Golfers that finish 1-5 earn First Team All-MAC and golfers that finish 6-10 earn Second Team All-MAC.
Liljeblad earned his second straight All-MAC Second Team honor finishing in a tie for eighth place. Liljeblad becomes the first Albright golfer since Samuel Ignatuk (16-'17) to earn back-to-back All-MAC honors.
The junior had rounds of 79 and 75 to claim the top 10 finish. The round of 75 came on Sunday. The back nine was played to near perfection by Liljeblad as he parred holes 10-18, helping him to remain inside the top 10.
Nontaphat Veeratecha finished in T12 with a two-day score of 158. Veeratecha made his MAC Championship debut this past weekend. The results will come for Veeratecha as he is on the cusp of earning All-MAC honors finishing just one stroke outside of the top 10.

Ashton McKechan and
Evan Twyman all finished within succession of each other. Alhanko finished with a two-day score of 159 and was followed by McKechan and Twyman who tallied scores of 160.
Every Lion in the lineup finished T16 or better, being just one of two schools (Stevenson) in the field having all five golfers inside the top 20.
York won the championship with a two-day score of 603 beating out Stevenson who finished second with a team score of 605.
