GRANTHAM, Pa. – Women's lacrosse (7-5, 1-1 MAC Commonwealth) played their first Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth road game of the season against the #15 Messiah Falcons (8-4, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth). Messiah won tonight 19-1 on their home turf.
The Falcons scored 15 goals in the first half to build up their lead. Messiah used the opening 30 minutes to their advantage carrying their momentum into the second half to start 2-0 in MAC Commonwealth play.
The Lions fired 13 shots looking to solve the Messiah defense.
Olivia Ball was able to break through in the beginning of the fourth quarter, scoring her 24
th goal of the season. Ball is having a career year for the Lions under the guidance of head coach Nicole Blair and Lauren China having 28 total points to date this season.

Madison Wood and
Tori Drennan were each credited with a caused turnover.
Wood led the team with three ground balls and three draw controls.
Zoe Dicks and Ball each finished the game with two draw controls.
