READING, Pa. - Despite taking a 2-0 lead to start their early morning match, the Lady Lions (0-2) were unable to hang on as Immaculata University (1-1) managed to battle back and defeat the red and white three games to two Saturday morning in the Bollman Center.
Albright got off to a great start Saturday morning picking up a 25-15 and 25-19 wins in the first two games. Unfortunately, the red and white completely fell apart in the third and fourth allowing the Mighty Macs to earn back-to-back wins by the scores of 25-16 and 25-20.
Now in the fifth and final set, the Lady Lions came out swinging. Unfortunately unforced service errors kept the Mighty Macs in the match. Even through most of the final game, Immaculata managed to gain some breathing room and eventually slipped by with a 15-13 win.

Danielle Ozment# drove home a match-high 20 kills, while #
Alyssa Hoogendoorn# posted 11 kills of her own. Immaculata's Lindsey Silvestro matched Ozement's match-high total, and proved to be the driving force in Immaculata's three-game rally.
Setter #
Lauren Higgins# was solid throughout the match tallying 40 assists. #
Casey McFadden# ended the match with career-best 20 digs, while three other players also finished in double-figures in digs as well.
Volleyball returns to their home court on Tuesday when they take on Wilkes University at 7 p.m.
