ANNVILLE, Pa. – In another tough Commonwealth Conference match, women's tennis (0-10/0-4 CC) was handed a 7-2 loss by the host Dutchmen of Lebanon Valley College (8-5/2-0 CC) Thursday afternoon at the LVC Tennis Complex.
Recording the team's only singles win was freshman
Victoria Foanio, who with that victory tied the single season record at Albright with 12 victories. She is currently sitting with an overall record of 12-3, 10-0 at first singles. Her win over the Dutchmen's number one singles player was decided by the final score of 6-3, 6-4.

Desiree Owle earned a hard fought win at first doubles with a 9-8 (7-3) victory. With that win the duo improve 3-2 overall.
At second doubles
Nazma Ali and
Darleny Melo were defeated by the final score of 8-1. Third doubles was decided via forfeit and after Foanio's win at first singles, the Dutchmen recorded five straight wins to earn the 7-2 decision.
Women's tennis returns to action on Saturday when they host Lycoming College at 11 a.m. at the Albright Tennis Courts.
