Sophomore Erin Hand continued her hot streak with two goals, as the Albright College women's soccer team defeated Hood College 3-1, Saturday in Commonwealth Conference action.

The Lions have now won two consecutive league games to improve to 2-1 in the Commonwealth. Hand has totaled four goals and an assist over Albright's previous four games.

The Lions dominated the contest, out-shooting Hood 27-1. Hand opened the scoring in the 31st minute, finishing a cross from junior Stephanie Przybyszewski. She also tallied Albright's third, dribbling past several defenders in the second half.

Senior Alex Talbot made it 2-0, knocking in junior Jena Muller's free kick in the 57th minute.

Emily Bartolotto scored a consolation goal for Hood with 10 minutes to play, beating Albright goalie Jaymee Stepp from long range.

The Lions are 7-3 overall and will travel to Dickinson on Monday.
