Tonight the Albright College women's basketball team enters into its seventh of 12 straight conference match-ups to finish out the season. The Lady Lions head to Williamsport, Pa and the awaiting Lycoming College Warriors. The Warriors are 8-10 and 3-5 in the Commonwealth Conference, and are coming off a rough four-game losing streak.
The Albright Lions enter the contest with a record of 5-14 and 1-7 in the Commonwealth Conference. In Albright's most recent conference action it enjoyed a victory over Arcadia, before falling to second place Messiah at home. Lycoming is looking to snap its losing streak, build momentum and compete for the fourth playoff spot. Tonight our Lions have a shot to spoil some of those aspirations by delivering a loss to the Warriors this evening.
Albright College Lions (5-14, 1-7 Commonwealth Conference)
In Albright's last matchup against Lycoming this season they fell by a final score of 60-50 and were hurt throughout the match by turnovers. However in more recent contests the Lions were able to improve turnover rates against opponents they had already seen this year, as well as increase scoring. With this positive Albright trend Lycoming's aspirations of a playoff berth could be coming to an end.

Knoebel, despite a slow game in scoring vs. Messiah, had five steals. Overall she has been a consistent leader in scoring all season (10 ppg average). Boyle was 3-for-4 from the foul line and recorded five rebounds against Messiah. She also ranks second in the conference in rebounding by only one, and first in defensive rebounds.
Kari Ludy led the Lions last game with 7 rebounds and is averaging 7.8 points per game.
Amanda Tiritilli has been huge from beyond the three-point line this season (33 made) and leads the conference in three-point percentage (.440). Tiritilli had five points and led the Lions in assists against the Falcons this past weekend.
Lycoming College Warriors (8-10, 3-5 Commonwealth Conference)
