The Lions showed no quit and a three-pointer from Knoebel cut the Lycoming lead to single digits at 9 with just under three minutes to play. Two minutes later, a layup from
Meghan Boyle on a feed from Knoebel made the deficit 49-43. Boyle converted two more inside shots in the last 33 seconds left to decrease the lead to five on two separate occasions. However, Albright wouldn't get any closer as the Warriors recorded the victory.
Both sides came out slowly offensively to begin the game. After going nearly five minutes without a field goal, The Lions recorded their first of the game on a layup from Tara Sabotchik off the fastbreak to make it a 4-2 ballgame in favor of Albright.
