The Albright College women's basketball team will take on the 16th-ranked team in the nation on Saturday when the Lions travel to face 20-2 Lebanon Valley College.

Amanda Tiritilli's hot shooting allowed Albright to surprise LVC early on and keep itself in the game until after halftime.
Tiritilli made her first five three point attempts of the game and her first six shots overall. She hit from long distance to put the Lions up 9-6 and then 14-10. Her pull-up jumper made it 16-13 before she assisted senior
Jenny Knoebel to stay ahead 19-17.
The Dutchmen finally pulled away with a balanced attack that had
Caitlin Bach and
Renee Fritz contributing 12 points apiece and
Gia Russo and
Kiely Chaklos adding 10 each.
Albright College Lions (5-17, 1-10 Commonwealth)
Knoebel heads into her final three career games as the team leader in minutes played (30.8 mpg), made field goals (82), blocks (20), steals (33) and scoring (10.6 ppg).
Knoebel is tied for first in the Commonwealth in made three-pointers with 36, and Tiritilli (35) is third. Tiritilli leads in three-point percentage (41.7%) and is the team-leader in assists (65).
Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen (20-2, 11-0 Commonwealth)
The Dutchmen are ranked 16th in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll, and 17th in the d3hoops.com poll. They are looking to clinch the top seed in the Commonwealth Conference playoffs with a win against Albright.
LVC doesn't have overwhelming individual statistics, but instead wins with high-percentage shooting and good depth.
Tierney Hiltz (11.6 ppg) is the only Dutchman in double-figures, but five other players average at least seven points per game. Lebanon Valley is second in the league in field goal percentage (41.0%) and is an outstanding free throw shooting team (75.1%).
At the line, Bach (83.2%), Murphy (83.1%) and Chaklos (80.6%) are all over 80%. Defensively LVC is also tough, leading the Commonwealth in points allowed per game (49.2).
Final Homestand
After Saturday's game, the Lions will conclude the regular season with two home contests. Albright hosts Arcadia on Tuesday before welcoming Widener on Saturday, February 18.

Crystal Cline.
