The Albright College softball team was swept on Saturday in its Commonwealth Conference finale, falling 7-6 and 4-2 to host Arcadia.
The Knights rallied from 6-4 to pull within one in the sixth and then win the opener with a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh.
Brandy Lagomarsino was 3-for-3 and scored three times in game one, while
Becky Crandall went 2-for-4 and knocked in three runs.
Despite 2.2 innings of one-hit work from senior
Alex Tragno in the finale, Albright couldn't muster any runs until plating two in the top of the seventh in a 4-2 defeat.
Juniors Lagomarsino and
Nikki Schwenk were each 2-for-4, with Lagomarsino scoring and Schwenk knocking in a run.
Albright is 6-23-1, 2-12 and will host Dickinson tomorrow at 1 p.m. It will be the final home game for seniors Tragno and Crandall.
