Lagomarsino Named Second Team All-Conference

Albright College junior Brandy Lagomarsino has been named to the 2012 softball All-Commonwealth Conference team.

A centerfielder, Lagomarsino was selected as a second team outfielder, and was the Lions' only selection.

Lagomarsino led the Lions in both batting average (.371), hits (43) and stolen bases (eight). She waited out a team-high 11 walks and led the squad with a .430 on-base percentage.

Lagmarsino also got better against conference opposition, hitting .415, slugging .453 and reaching base at a .446 clip, all higher than her overall season averages.

Co-Player of the Year honors went to Elly McCarthy of Elizabethtown and Sarah Seneca of Messiah. Lebanon Valley
swept the remaining special awards with Rookie of the Year going to Tessa Deardorff; Kristen Palmerio earned Pitcher of
the Year and Coach of the Year was awarded to Stacey Hollinger.
