Extra opportunities killed the Lions as the Albright College women's basketball team fell 63-45 to Cabrini, Thursday evening on the road.
The Cavaliers attempted almost twice as many field goals as the Lions, taking 73 shots to Albright's 41. This was due to a 20-6 turnover differential, and 23 offensive rebounds for Cabrini (as opposed to just seven for the Red and White).
Albright trailed 36-30 at halftime after making 6-of-22 (27.3%) shots, while Cabrini attempted 36 shots.

The Cavaliers jumped out to a 14-0 lead before sophomore 
Amanda Tiritilli got the Lions on the board from behind the arc, 4:34 into the action.
Consecutive three-pointers from 
Brittany Sandone pushed Cabrini's advantage to 22-3 after seven minutes, before Harris and 
Tara Sabotchick hit free throws.
Freshman 
Emily O'Donnell hit the Lions first two-point basket of the contest with 7:57 remaining in the first half, making it 26-8 Cabrini.
Albright went on a 9-0 run early in the second half, capped by baskets from Harris and Sabotchick, to cut the lead to single-digits at 40-31. Cabrini scored the next seven points however to stifle the comeback attempt.
Sandone made 8-of-16 shots and finished with a game-high 20 points for Cabrini; she also recorded three steals.
 Laura Caron had eight assists, while adding seven assists and no turnovers for a Cavalier team that protected the ball all game.
Albright falls to 6-5 on the season and breaks a two-game winning streak heading into an important Commonwealth Conference home matchup with Elizabethtown on Saturday. Cabrini, tied for first place in the CSAC, improves to 8-3 overall.
