With their 49-39 loss to Lycoming, the Albright College women's basketball team was officially eliminated from playoff contention, but the Lady Lions will look to go out strong as they travel to Elizabethtown to take on the Blue Jays.

Previous Meeting

Back in January, the Blue Jays escaped from Reading with a 67-65 victory over Albright.

Sophomore Tara Sabotchick led a second half surge from the Lions, dropping 22 points, but it was not enough as Albright could never fully climb back.

Albright was able to get to within a single possession numerous times, but could not level the score at any time during the loss.

Albright College Lions (11-13, 7-10 Commonwealth)

The young Lady Lions stayed in the playoff hunt the whole season, but with their loss to Lycoming, found themselves permanently on the outside looking in.

In the loss to Lyco, freshman Kelecia Harris had a well-rounded game with nine points, eight rebounds, and three steals.

Also, Emily O'Donnell had eight points and Meghan Boyle pulled down six rebounds for the Red and White.

Senior Kari Ludy will play her last game in the Red and White jersey for the Lions against Elizabethtown.

Albright players should break a pair of single season school records at the conclusion of this game- Harris' field goal percentage of 58.0 (ahead of Jen Houser's 50.5% in 1995-96), and Tara Sabotchick's three-point percentage of 46.3 (ahead of Amanda Tiritilli's 40.7% last season).

Elizabethtown College Blue Jays (13-10, 10-7 Commonwealth)

The Blue Jays have punched their ticket to the Commonwealth Conference Tournament as they are set to host Lycoming in the play-in game on Monday.

Junior Taylor Kreider leads Etown in the points department, averaging 15.7 PPG. Kreider is also pulling down 11.0 RPG, giving her a double-double on the season.
