READING, Pa. – Brooke Ronney was victorious at No. 1 singles and Albright swept all six singles matches on its way to an 8-1 Commonwealth Conference victory over Stevenson on Sunday at the Albright Tennis Courts.

Ronney defeated Svetlana Widell 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles and she also teamed with Alyssa Sell to defeat Widell and Ty-Chelle Williams 8-1 at No. 1 doubles.

Sell defeated Williams 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, and Melissa Carberry downed Ashley Pinter 6-3, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.

Albright completed the singles sweep when Erin Sullivan defeated Ashlyn Hawbaker 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4 singles, Amanda Camporeale beat Colleen Martin 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles and Elizabeth Bengtsson beat Emily Ostrander 6-1, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.

Albright also picked up a win at No. 3 doubles when Carberry and Sullivan beat Martin and Jennifer Garcia 8-2.

The win by the Lions snapped a six-game losing streak and improved their record to 6-6 overall and 1-3 in the Commonwealth Conference. Stevenson dropped to 3-6 overall and 1-2 in league play.
