DANBURY, Conn. – Junior first baseman Camille Sears was named the ECAC Division III South Player of the Month for March as announced by the organization on Thursday afternoon.

Sears hit .533 with two home runs and 19 RBI in 15 games for the Lions. The Howard Beach, N.Y., native registered 24 hits including eight multi-hit games and added three doubles and 13 runs scored, while striking out just twice in 45 at-bats.

Sears becomes the first Albright player to earn ECAC honors since Sammi O'Connor was named Pitcher of the Week in April 2016.

The Lions hit the road to battle Widener in a MAC Commonwealth doubleheader tomorrow afternoon with first pitch of game one set for 2 p.m.
