KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Christian Bowles earned another accolade from his tremendous season being named to the fourth team in Region IV as announced by the United Soccer Coaches. Bowles becomes the first men's soccer player from Albright to make an All-Region team since 2010.
As a conference, the MAC Commonwealth and MAC Freedom combined for 22 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-Region selections, including six first-team honorees, eight second-team selections, five third-team honorees and three fourth-team honorees.
Earlier this season Bowles was named to the All-MAC Commonwealth second team in his first season as an Albright Lion.
Bowles is a sophomore transfer from Millersville and started in all 18 games in his first season for the Lions. He went on to record a team high 14 goals to go along with three assists. Three of Bowles' goals went on to be game winners.
Bowles scored two goals in a game on three separate occasions against Penn St.-Berks, Lancaster Bible and Delaware Valley. Bowles found himself accounting for a goal or an assist in 13 of the teams 18 games.
