ST. DAVIDS, Pa. – Softball (5-26, 1-11 MAC Commonwealth) continued their end of season stretch on the road against Eastern University (25-4, 11-1 MAC Commonwealth). In one of their last conference games of the year, the Lions were swept as Eastern won both games x-x and x-x.
Junior
Jadelyn Van Winkle recorded two hits, struck out four batters and pitched a combined seven innings in the double header for the lions as she continues to lead the team in both innings pitched and strikeouts.
Game one saw the Lions and Eagles tied at 1-1 before Eastern would go on to breakthrough in the fifth and win by a score of 9-1.
First year
Marissa Rovenstine picked up a pair of hits on both games as she continues to lead the team in batting average and hits.
Sophomore
Madison Lasko record a pair of hits and an RBI in game two to go along with a stolen base.
First Year
Aliza Langlois had her best performance of the season with three hits in game two of the double header. This three-hit performance is Langlois' first muti-hit game of her career.
