CARLISLE, Pa. – Men's golf competed in the Dickinson Invitational battling the wet, damp and soggy conditions throughout the day. The weather was a factor but it did not slow down Albright as the team shot an impressive 303 to take 4
th overall in a strong field.
The Lions played in the Dickinson Invitational at Carlisle Barracks Golf Club on Monday afternoon. The course played 6670 yards and a par of 72.
The 303 team score for the Lions tied their lowest team score of the season. Division II Millersville won the tournament and was followed by Dickinson's C and A teams. Albright pulled into 4
th finishing just three strokes behind second place.
Two other MAC Commonwealth teams were in the field in Stevenson and Eastern. The Lions finished 20 strokes better than Stevenson and 23 strokes better than Eastern.
Charles Bailey earned a top five finish shooting a one over par 73. Bailey took 5
th out of 98 players in the field.
Jonatan Liljeblad shot a 76 on his way to a top 20 finish. The sophomore finished in a 10-way tie for 17
th.
Ben Egin and
Sam Elsen ended their rounds with the same score of 77. The Lion duo finished in a tie for 27
th performing well in tough conditions.
Chris DiRita rounded out the Lions in action shooting an 81. DiRita did well to steady his round to secure the team score of 303 and a top five team finish.

Albright will compete in the Premiere College Tournament on Thursday September 26. The Tournament will be played at Berkleigh Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pa.
