WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Men's golf played 36 holes of golf over the past two days competing in the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational hosted by West Chester University. The Lions finished in 10
th place competing in a field of Division I and II teams.
RESULTS
The Lions shot a team score of 323 today to end their two days with a team score of 634. The two-day score bested NCAA Division II institutions Wilmington, PennWest Clarion and Chestnut Hill College. Additionally, Albright finished just one stroke behind Jefferson and four strokes behind Millersville.
Lafayette finished atop the leaderboard with a two-day score of 601. Rider came in second shooting a 605 and St. Thomas Aquinas College in third with a 606. The 36-holes were played at Penn Oaks Golf Club.
Evan Twyman shot a two-day score of 155 to finish in T18 which was the highest finishing Albright Lion over the two days.
Nontaphat Veeratecha improved on his day one score by two strokes this afternoon coming in with a round of 77. The sophomore Lion finished in T23.
Jason DiRita shot an 84 and was followed by
Jonatan Liljeblad with an 83. DiRita finished with a two-day score of 160 to finish in T41 while Liljeblad 164 over the two days to finish 53rd.
August Fredrik Alhanko shaved two strokes off his score today from yesterday finishing with an 83.

Albright will take some time off before returning to play historic Bethpage Park Golf Course. The Lions will begin the two-day tournament hosted by Farmingdale State College on Saturday, April 18.
