READING, Pa. – Men's basketball will open postseason play against the Alvernia Golden Wolves. The two teams split with each other in the regular season with tomorrow's game being the first time the two Reading schools will face off in the postseason.
Admission for adults will be $8 with seniors (65+) and youth (7-17) being $6. Admission will be free for kids six and under (with an adult) and MAC students via the presentation of their school IDs.

ABOUT ALBRIGHT
Albright enters the MAC Commonwealth tournament as the #1 seed following a 12-2 conference record which included nine straight wins to end the season.
Senior guard
Eric Chamberlain finished the regular season with a team leading 17.5 ppg, also a career best. Chamberlain also made a large impact on the defensive end averaging 2.5 steals and became the first player in school history to record over 200 steals in a career (232).
Also dominating on defense this season is Junior forward
Phanique Dupree. With 90 blocks on the season, Dupree led the entire country in blocks per game with 3.75 and finished second on the team in scoring averaging 13.1 on the season.
Qadir Mitchell has embraced the role of the team's sixth man and led all scorers off the bench with 11.8 ppg. Mitchell recorded a season high 29 minutes in the team's last match with Alvernia which included hitting the game winner in the final seconds as part of a 24-point night.
ABOUT ALVERNIA
Alvernia comes in as the #4 seed following a 15-win season and a 7-7 record in conference play. The Golden Wolves enter this game on a two-game skid after dropping road matches against Hood and Stevenson.
Sophomore forward Elijah Hamilton led the way for Alvernia's offense this season averaging 15.6 ppg in addition to recording 36 blocks on the season. Hamilton comes into this game shooting 52.7% from the field and 36.4% from beyond the arc and also led the team in rebounds with an average of 8.5.
Jakob Kelly serves as Hamilton's runner up for both points (12.9) and rebounds (7.6). The graduate student in one of four players on Alvernia's roster shooting at least 38% from the three-point line. The others are Janye Stanley (38%), Robert Cottrell (39.7%), and Jacob Stoudt (42%).
